Battleborn is set in a universe in the far far future, to an extreme. All the stars but one in the universe have gone dark. Yet Solace remains, the very last star. All the beings in the universe have used their forms of travel to find a way and now are at Solace, in a mesh for survival, power and a place to belong. As such, they've formed into 5 Factions, having found out that they're not each other's worst enemy as the actual Enemy is out there, divesting and hidden in the darkness, behind the consuming of the light from the stars, and is now threatening Solace itself.
Among the factions, the Battleborn, the Heroes have emerged, who are willing to set aside the differences to bring the fight to the dark to save the universe.
